In my 30 before baby post, I listed that one of the things that we needed to get done was build a second raised vegetable garden bed...Turns out that there are many more than 30 things that I need to do before I have the baby :) Like for today's example, find a new location … Continue reading A modified achievement

Baby’s Room Progress
I know I haven't been posting much. I haven't gotten many good short projects finished, but instead have been working on the long projects...Like the baby's room. Last we left off I had patched the ceiling and installed a new light fixture. But still needed to prime and paint the ceiling and the walls. Here … Continue reading Baby’s Room Progress
Let there be light!
I've been working most days chipping away at fixing the ceiling in the baby's room...and it's finally over! (Just the fixing part, not the paining part) And the light has gone up! Let me tell you a little bit about this light fixture. I know it's find of "princess-y" but before you start to worry, … Continue reading Let there be light!
{DIY} Paint Canvas Head Board
Next at on the top of my list for our bedroom is a head board. Here is the last picture I posted of our bedroom, and my last bedroom process post on the lamps, curtain, and side tables. And the Gallery Wall is up!
So again, back to filling the large empty walls in our house! This one was a done a while ago, but the beauty of a gallery wall is that it can continue to grow, change, and evolve. A New Dishwasher
Unfortunately I have to admit that I haven't remade anything in a while. I think about it all the time, and then that is as far as it goes...but we did make a little progress in the kitchen! A new dishwasher! Exciting, right? You buy a house and suddenly it's exciting to get things like … Continue reading A New Dishwasher
Updated Bedroom Progress

I'm not going to try to kid anyone...it's ridiculously small! The picture on the left is from the doorway facing the north wall. Directly to the left of … Continue reading Updated Bedroom Progress
A Growing Vegetable Garden
After building our new monster garden bed (at least I thought it was monster size until our vegetables started spilling over the edges) I couldn't wait to get my starts planted. I spent months with my little seeds all lined up under a grow light in the garage, and with the delay of summer they … Continue reading A Growing Vegetable Garden
{Better Remade} flagstone walkway
Since we moved in we have been unhappy with our front walkway. The owners threw down flagstone pavers on top of loose gravel right before the house went on the market, and since then the grass has completely taken over. The worst part was that when wearing heels I had to be very cautious to … Continue reading {Better Remade} flagstone walkway
Progress on the front yard
Quick recap...Here is our front yard when we bought the house When we purchased the house a few years ago there were little garden beds in the front of the house. It's not the prettiest view, but you can see the trees that run along the fence. They basically prevented anything from growing. We waited … Continue reading Progress on the front yard
